A Fantastic Week that Keeps Getting Better

This week has been such an amazing week and it just keeps getting better!

My grandma and sister came out to visit for a few days and I was able to spend some time with them, that was awesome.

My grandma went a little overboard and bought a ton of baby stuff for us: a crib, mattress sheets, a mattress pad, bibs, receiving blankets, baby hangers, baby bath towels, baby wash cloths, a couple outfits, some white onesies, booties, a baby book, diapers, wipes, and I know there's more that I'm forgetting. This child is going to be so loved & spoiled!! We are so grateful! :D

On top of that we get to see our little one in less than 12 hours. I'm so excited! I've waited weeks to see baby again.

John's brother and our sister in law are coming out from Utah tomorrow and will be here for a few days visiting. We love having family and friends come visit :)

And to put the cherry on the sundae, I was finally able to completely pay off my incredibly stressful and high interest rated credit card!! Woot woot!! That thing has been dragging me down for years. See ya later Wells Fargo! We are now one step closer to financial freedom :)

Stocking Up

I bought some really cute stuff today for my baby stash, wanna see? Of course you do, it's cute baby stuff, who doesn't want to look at cute baby stuff? I bought....

                                                                       this car seat cover
(hat included! the hat sold the deal)

                                                               and the blooming bath
                                                                      (in turquoise)

I typically don't like the gender neutral stuff so I pass on anything that I feel should be related to the gender, but I didn't like the gender specific car seat covers anyway and then I saw this one and it's just too stinkin' cute to pass up. And the blooming bath, I figured if it's a girl she'll still look girly in a blue flower, and if he's a boy well then at least it's blue! haha

I also bought a moby today (in the color "slate") but those aren't "cute" so no picture needed.

I also bought this diaper bag a few months ago, but wanted to share it with my "cute baby stuff"

When it comes to diaper bags I feel like it doesn't need to be gender specific because baby isn't the one carrying it around- I am, so I went ahead and bought one that I wouldn't mind toting around everywhere. The whole gray being a gender neutral color thing is a coincidence because I'm a sucker for gray. It's pretty :)
